We are launching our community arm of New Vision Church and invite everyone to participate in growing this community.
The Hub will provide spaces for improving the wellbeing and meeting the needs of the community through health talks, counselling, activity groups and befrinding those isolated.
We will apply for grant funding and increase our fundraising activity to ensure our building and facilities can be improved and provide a warm and welcoming space for everyone.
Please come and join us
Forgiveness is a central theme of our faiths and is essential for spiritual growth and healing. It involves letting go of anger and resentment towards oneself or others. Forgiveness can be a difficult process, but it can also be liberating and bring peace to the soul.
Ephesians 4:32
"be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you."
New Vision Church focus our spiritual growth using annual and monthly themes taken from scripture.
Our monthly themes for the remainder of the year are:
SEPTEMBER: "Grace in your space"
OCTOBER: 'Make the Cut'
NOVEMBER: 'maintain your teritory'
DECEMBER: TBC
"enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes" Isaiah 54:2 (NIV)
Music has been used in relational worship for thousands of years. It can evoke powerful emotions, create a sense of community and help connect worshippers to the divine. We recognize the importance of music in spiritual practice in our relationship with God and encourage everyone to take part. Worship is not a performance but an expression of the love and reverence we have for our king.
1 Chronicles 16:9
"Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts"
Gratitude is an attitude of thankfulness and appreciation for the blessings in one's life. It is a key aspect of our faith and can help cultivate a positive mindset and outlook on life. Practicing gratitude can also improve mental and physical health.
2 Corinthians 9:12 "for the ministry of this service (offering) is not only supplying the needs of the saints (god's people), but is also overflowing through many expressions of thanksgiving to God. AMP
We embrace volunteering as a form of ministry and serving the community. If you have a skill, gift, talent or resource you would like to contribute please let a minister know so that we can support your personal growth and development in line with our vision.
Matthew 19:19 "honour your father and mother, and love your neighbour as yourself"
Unity and community is an important concept in the body of Christ. we are all part of His bigger picture and divine plan and purpose. Together we fulfil the scripture 1 Corinthians 12:25-26 "so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, evry part rejoices with it"
